A new report by Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health finds many physicians feel under qualified to treat obesity.

To meet this educational need, a huge portion (pun intended) of the 2013 Cardiometabolic Health Congress (CMHC) is dedicated to obesity management. Obesity experts including Drs. Robert Eckel, Ken Fujioka, W. Timothy Garvey, Samuel Klein, Robert Kushner, I-Min Lee, David Nathan, Francesco Rubino and Arya Sharma will offer practical strategies to effectively manage patients who are overweight or obese and have, or are at risk of, cardiovascular/metabolic disease and related comorbidities.
